Zapier MCP for Gemini CLI: setup with the mcp add command

Connect Gemini CLI to Zapier MCP by running gemini mcp add with the user scope and the http type, then logging in from the terminal over the OAuth protocol.

Before you begin

• A Zapier account.

Connect Zapier MCP to Gemini CLI

In your terminal:

1. Install Gemini CLI

   If you have not installed it yet, follow the Gemini CLI installation guide.

2. Add the Zapier server

   Run this command to add Zapier MCP:

   gemini mcp add --scope user zapier https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect --type http
   
3. Log in

   Start gemini and run /mcp auth zapier to log in with your Zapier account.

You’ve now connected Zapier MCP to Gemini CLI.
