This page shows how to connect VS Code to Zapier MCP using the one-click installer or your MCP configuration.

Before you begin

  • A Zapier account.
  • VS Code with MCP support (GitHub Copilot in Agent mode).

Install in one click

Add to VS Code

Open VS Code and add the Zapier MCP server automatically.

Configure manually

In VS Code:

Open your MCP config

Open the command palette (Cmd+Shift+P) and run MCP: Open User Configuration.

Add the Zapier server

Add the following to your settings:
When prompted, authenticate with your Zapier account.
You’ve now connected Zapier MCP to VS Code.
